The Knitter's Book of Wool

There is a new book that is coming out by Clara Parkes in October, and she has come up with a fun way of promoting it - on her website, she has a quiz where you can find out what kind of ewe you are! Turns out that I'm a rambouillet.

Very cool. The description is as follows:

"These are the wools so soft you can sleep in, the ones to be used for baby blankets or scarves, summer shawls, sweaters, and any other garment that will come into direct and frequent contact with your skin." - Clara Parkes, from The Knitter's Book of Wool

As a finewool with roots in Spain and France, Rambouillets seem to exude a cosmopolitan air, yet stay grounded and easygoing with others in the flock. With big hearts and as pring int heir step, these finewools' lively attitudes make them approachable and always ready with a warm smile and a hug.
